Visit Famen Temple and Qianling Tomb

2Itinerary

  • Your private English-speaking guide and driver will pick you up from your hotel around 8:30am.
  • After a drive of 120km west of Xian, we will arrive at Famen Temple which was first set up during East Han Dynasty and is renowned for storing the veritable Finger Bone of the Sakyamuni Buddha.
  • After lunch, we will visit Qianling Tomb, the co--tomb of Emperor Tang Gaozong ( Li Zhi, 628 A.D.-683 A.D.) and Empress Wu Zetian (624 A.D.-705 A.D.), the only Empress in Chinese history.
  • End the tour and transfer you to the hotel around 5pm.
  • During today's tour, a Chinese cultural shop visit is organized.

I have never imagined that it is such a beautiful place! When we arrived at Xi’an I was fascinated about its ancient architectures. It was amazing! At the Famen Temple we took a lot of photos and the guide told us story about Wuzetian. I like it.

It was my first time to visit China. I have known that China has a long history. It was what I had imagined. The guide Jennifer took good care of every tourist. She was funny and also educated. She said that her major was history. She told us full story of the Empress Wuzetian. And I began to respect her.
