Day 1 Destinations: Arrive in Xi'an Today's Activities:Meet your local tour guide at Xi'an airport and then transfer to hotel. Today we will firstly visit the Shaanxi Historical Museum. It is a large-scale modern State-class museum, which is situated at the western side of the "Wild Goose Pagoda" in Xian City. It covers an area of about 70,000 square meters, the architectural area of which is 55,000 odd square meters. It was completed on June 20, 1991 and open to the public. Then we will proceed to the Ancient City Wall which was built in the Ming dynasty over 700 years ago, the Xian City Wall is the most complete ancient city wall in China. The wall is a fine example of China's ancient defensive fortifications that were formed over 2,000 years ago, and continued even to the last imperial era of the Qing Dynasty. The wall reflects a brilliant beauty at night when the area is lit up by colorful lights. Meals:

Day 2 Destinations: Xi'an Today's Activities:Today drive about one hour to Hu County, visit a local family there and see the famous Peasant Paintings. In the evening have a big meal with locals for a happy Chinese Spring Festival. Tonight you will stay at a local homestay.
The style of Huxian Peasant Paintings is said to have originated in the late 1950s when Hu County peasants who were building a new reservoir began painting pictures of the work in progress in order to record the work and to inspire themselves to work better. These first peasant painters did not even have proper paints, but used soot, lime, and the red soil of the area to make paint.
Ordinary life was the subject of these paintings, and work was often the focus. Many of these early paintings were clearly political, with titles like "I Grow Grain and Cotton for our Motherland" and "Never Forget the State after a Good Harvest". Meals: standard

Day 3 Destinations: Xi'an Today's Activities:Today you will have chance to see the interesting Shehuo Perfomance at Hu County. In the afternoon back to Xi'an.
Practiced during Spring Festival in the Chinese lunar calendar, Shehuo is a spontaneous traditional festive occasion for songs and dances prevailing mainly in the countryside of North China. With a long history, these festive affairs are rooted from the primitive sacrificial activities in which ancient people prayed for harvest and affluence with their songs and dances from "She", originally meaning the God of Earth, and "Huo", literally meaning fire which ancient people believed to have the magic power of driving away the evil spirit.
