This was a wonderful journey with Air China. We went on time from Beijing to Guilin. During the flight, they served us the best food. First we didn't expect too much from domestic flight. But Air China was satisfying my family and me. Wonderful!

Flight was on time, no complaints. Never flew a local Asian airline before, so had low expectations but everything was great. I fell asleep and completely missed breakfast but then, as we were landing, flight attendant remembered me and still asked if I wanted breakfast; it was unexpected but certainly appreciated.

The gate was changed twice, there was no information and the flight was several hours delayed. The delay was due to the weather and understandably, but the lack of information was not . We stood for a long time waiting.

The food was so-so, expected more. Also, Chinese flight attendants seem to deliver different level of services to westerners/ Chinese (more rude and less passion when dealing with Chinese/ Asian faces). That is a serious issue. I realized that on this flight, also to be fair on most other Chinese airlines.
