2Itinerary
- Your private English-speaking guide and driver will pick you up from your hotel around 9am. You will begin the tour at Yuyuan Garden, built during the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644 AD), and enjoy a respite from bustling city life as you stroll through the garden, admiring the pavilions, ponds and dragon-lined walls. Yuyuan Garden translates to the 'Garden of Contentment' in English, and you will experience tranquility as you explore this 400-year-old classical Chinese garden. Next, stop by the Chenghuangmiao Temple, which means the 'Temple of the Town Deity'. Back in ancient China, every city had its own temple to worship its local deity, who was believed to protect the townspeople. After lunch you will visit the Jade Buddha Temple to see the intricately carved jade Buddhas and ancient paintings. Visit the Taobao City Market which is a local market, you can buy clothing, shoes, toys, luggage, electronics and much more.With 125 stalls to browse, the market offers a not-to-be-missed experience. End the tour and transfer you to the hotel around 5pm. During today's tour, a visit to a culture factory shop is organized.

- Yes it’s another face of shanghai and I also love this face. I bought a lot of things in the antique market and I love silk very much. My tour guide was a very nice man, he told me what to buy and what is not good. I recommend this tour.

- As described this tour is about traditional face of Shanghai. I love Yuyuan Garden very much especially its food court. I tasted a lot and they are good look as well as good tasted. The Jade Buddha Temple was very busy and not as interesting as I imaged.

We had a fantastic tour in Shanghai, thanks for organizing it for us, we found your company to be very helpful and easy to deal with.
The drivers were very skilled in heavy traffic and looked after us with great courtesy. The cars were always clean and well looked after.
The meals arranged were generally very delicious and some of the restaurants most spectacular. There was plenty, sometimes too much to eat. It would have been useful if there was an option to have less food.Sincerely,
