Summary:

Xiapu is the oldest town in Eastern Fujian which has more than 1700 years of history. It is known as “vital communications hub between Fujian and Zhejiang”, “ an abundant place”, “a place has prosperous culture”. It was formerly the Politics, Economy and Culture center of Eastern Fujian. Xiapu is known for the fish raft in sunset recently. The breathtaking rays of sunset glow attracts innumerous shutterbugs worldwide.

It’s originated in Taimu Mountain in Fuding. It’s said that Taimu Mountain was originally called Cai Mountain. During Yaodi Era, there was a woman who lived here. She planted tea for living. She used one of the tea she plant to heal Measles and saved a lot of lives, so local people called her ”Tai Mu” and this mountain was started to be called as Taimu Mountain. During the era of Emperor Wu of Han, Taimu Mountain was labeled as the top of 36 famous mountains and was renamed as Taimu Mountain formally. We can still find the original white tea “Tai Mu” planted.

Day 01Fuding

Destinations: Arrival in Fuding

Activities:

Upon arrival, meet & greet by local representative. Then bus to Diantou village see and take photo of white tea plantations, walk around and see Tea-peaking by She Nationality girl. Go ahead to visit the Wu Mansion, which is the ancient home of largest tea merchant in Qing Dynasty two hundred years ago, do family visit and taste local white tea. Back to Fuding. Welcome dinner with flavor: Fuding Flavor (Taro, Seafood)

Day 02Fuding

Destinations: Fuding to Xiapu

Activities:

Morning transfer to Taimu Mountain. Mt. Taimu has tall mountains, peculiar rocks, special caves and crystal clear rivers. You can see the oldest white tea tree; enjoy the tea with well water. Go on take photo of organic tea garden in Taimuyang village.

After lunch, bus to Xiapu (60km, 1hr), take photo of the largest fisheries in south eastern of China. You have chance to get the best picture of the sunset on the ocean. Photo the large tracts of fishing rafts, fishermen were pulling their nets with great haste. Dinner: Xiapu Seafood Flavor. Overnight in Xiapu.

Day 03Fuding, Fuzhou

Destinations: Xiapu to Fuzhou

Activities:

Early in morning, transfer to Xiapu Beiqi village, to take the photo of sunrise, many boats start to sail out trawling the bay. Then bus to Fuzhou (162km, 2.5 hrs). Visit the Fanchuangpu Church, which is the earliest port to the world in ancient China, most of tea was exported from here in Qing dynasty hundred years ago. Fuzhou city is notorious for her best Jasmine Tea. If possible, arrange visit the Chunlun Jasimine Tea gardern. Dinner: Ningde Flavor

Day 04Fuzhou, Quanzhou

Destinations: Fuzhou to Quanzhou

Activities:

Morning, transfer to Quanzhou (153km, 2.5hrs) Visit Zhangjiao Village, this village have more than 800 years old. The buildings in this village were made of blocks of colors stone. So far, it’s still a mysterious place. You may get a bravo picture of color ancient Chinese house, old people living inside. You can communicate with local people; know more about Fijian’s stone building’s history. Then, transfer to Quanzhou (52km, 1hr), free activity in Tumen Street, then check in hotel. Dinner: Quanzhou Local Snack Flavor

Day 05Quanzhou, Xiamen

Destinations: Quanzhou to Xiamen

Activities:

Then bus to Anxi (53km, 1hr) to see famous Oolong tea plantation. In 18^th century, most oolong tea was produced here and export to UK. You can take a photograph of all the tea garden, tasting the best Oolong tea. Bus transfer to Xiamen (135km, 1hr) and check into hotel. Evening free activities in the Zhongshan Shopping Road.

Quanzhou→Xiamen

Day 06Xiamen

Destinations: Xiamen to Nanjing

Activities:

After breakfast, visit the World Cultural Heritage Tianluokeng Hakka Earth Building Cluster. See from the hill, you'll find this miracle looks like a table of Chinese dishes (Photo Stop). Then visit Yuchang Building. random walk in the Taxia village, enjoy the cutrual of Hakka. Lunch with local flavor. Then transfer to Yongding, Tour the Yongding Hakka Building Cultural Village, one of the "World Cultural Heritage". Visit Zhencheng Building, Kuiju Building, Rusheng Building and Fuyu Building. You can see the traditional Hakka brewing technique of the wine of rice. Family visit, join the baked procedure of black tea. Dinner : Hakka Tulou Flavor. Overnight at local Tulou building.

Day 07Xiamen, Liancheng(Longyan)

Destinations: Drive to Longyan

Activities:

Then transfer to Chuxi Tulou (59km, 1.5hr), visit the Jiqing Lou, which is the HAKKA Museum, in this village, you can see local village school and framer work in the field. Located at Chuxi Village, Xiayang Town, this building cluster consists of five round buildings and dozens of square buildings. You could take photo of a large field of terraces, tea plantation, farmers working hard…Arrange farmer working in village. Afternoon, transfer to Longyan（87.8km, 2.5hrs）, check in hotel.

Day 08Liancheng(Longyan), Xiamen

Destinations: Longyan to Xiamen

Activities:

In the morning transfer to the Peitian, which is the oldest village in Fujian, Peitian is located on the foot of Guanzhai Mountain of Longyan's Liancheng, West of Fujian Province. Peitian Village is surrounded by mountains and parted by a river, which made beautiful natural sceneries. Since the Ming and the Qing Dynasties, the village has served as a key interchange station connecting official roads to Changting and Liancheng. The history of the village could be dated back to the Southern Song Dynasty, some 800 years ago. Local architecture features rich ornaments. Peitian families like growing orchid. Moreover, Peitian Village is famous for its academies of classical learning, with Southern Mountain This afternoon, transfer back to Xiamen (255km, 3.5hrs,)

Day 09Xiamen, Wuyishan

Destinations: Xiamen to Wuyishan

Activities:

In the morning, transfer to Airport fly to Wuyishan. Pick up, and go ahead to Dahongpao plantation, which is the TOP1 Oolong tea in the world. There are only two such tea tree on the earth, so it’s rare. You can see the historical of Dahongpao Tea.
