: Hello James, The train was not a problem at all. Let me tell you how wonderful our trip was. We are deeply impressed by the natural wonders and the cultural experiences. It was great! Everything went well. Your guides are competent and professional. The whole organization was just perfect. The next trip we will organize with you, that is for sure. That I already wrote in my short reports. By the way I am taking part in a writing completion and want to write about Shigatse – “The city I would like to live in”. : Dear James, My wife and I enjoyed our trip to China tremendously and it was definitely one of the most memorable trips we will remember for the years to come. We would also like to thank you for your help in putting our itinerary together. Our guides were great. They are quite in tune with what information we wanted and we really enjoyed being with him and he made us feel very comfortable in his company. Both the guides managed to speak English very well and we were understood by them all. Both guides knew their local areas extremely well and were very passionate about their own local areas. The food was also one of our favorite parts about the trip! It was delicious and always filling. In fact, it was so good that often times we would over eat even when we weren't hungry! We had no issues with the drivers. They were all very courteous and got us where we needed to be a timely and safe manner. My wife and I appreciated your selection of both the hotels. Both were in good location and breakfast was outstanding with so many selections. I would write that people are the first contact that you need to do if you are going to visit China. Every detail regarding your time in China is attended and you only need to enjoy your vacation in such a wonderful country. Not every company can say the same. : Dear Tom We have had beautiful and unforgettable trip to Lhasa and Shigatse. Thank you very much and want to say that everything was well organized. I want to come to Tibet once again with my family or with friends once again. And maybe not once... I should say Tibet is one of the most beautiful places I have ever visited. The whole experience has left our group flabbergasted! It's not just the location but also the people there are so friendly and open! Of the 7 days that we spent in Tibet, our visit to the Potala Palace was our number 1 highlight. The walk up the stairs from the entrance of the palace to the main palace itself was not as difficult as I would have imagined. We found the place fascinating, what with its various statues, death stupas (where they have the bodies of previous Dalai Lamas and other important people), candles burning yak butter, murals, and many other amazing artifacts. The most exciting moment of your tour is the travel near the Mount Everest Base Camp. The Everest region really is like nowhere else on earth. The ultimate peace and quiet (just the gentle tinkling of yak bells along the path), astounding views, wonderful people. I may be back in London but my heart remains in the Khumbu. As a testimonial, we would say that many of our countrymen expressed surprise that we were booking with a company unknown to us and them. I felt from the first emails, that China Travel Depot was professional and responsive and the right choice for our trip. Your service was seamless and we experienced all the sites that we would have chosen on our own. I am sure we have been exposed to knowledge and places that we would have missed otherwise. Our experience proved that to be the case throughout our visit to China. We loved every bit of it and we were thrilled to have visited your country, observed its best known cities and its people.
