Wow, what a wonderful trip. I would like to thank the China Travel Depot group for making my trip so awesome and worry free. My wife and I really enjoyed ourselves in Xining and all thanks to the excellent service and facilities provided by you and your colleagues.
I was really impressed by the rapid response that I received from yourselves whilst arranging and planning my trip and the 24/7 service culture that you seemed to embody. It is difficult with the time difference between UK and China - but you completely removed that difficulty from the equation and allowed me to plan my trip very speedily, with no delays arising out of time differences. I was also very pleased with the flexible and customizable tour itinerary that you provided me with at every stage of our discussions, to better enable me to plan and conceive our holiday.
The trip to Qinghai Lake is like a dream. We spent a spectacular day hiking around Qinghai Lake, China's largest inland salt water lake. The desert is beautiful and surreal. The sunlight on the lake is stunning! Our guide was very warm, friendly and very professional at all times. We really became very good friends through the trip - and she was always courteous, very enthusiastic and very knowledgeable about the sights on the tour.
We would definitely recommend CTD to our friends. As for our next trip, we would pick a better time of the year to travel, cooler; perhaps for Yangtze River Cruises.
