Thank you for asking me for a feedback. We (my parents and I) had an unforgettable trip with your group! Overall, China Travel Depot did an exceptional job in organizing our 7-days tour in Shangrila, Lijiang, Dali and Kunming.

The scenery in Shangri La is breathtaking for a foreigner. I thought the national parks and lakes there were just sublime. The Tibetan people were warm and friendly and I have fantastic photos from there. Seeing yaks close up in the wild was a first for me.

Our guides were great. They are quite in tune with what information we wanted and we really enjoyed being with him and he made us feel very comfortable in his company. All the guides managed to speak English very well and we were understood by them all. All guides knew their local areas extremely well and were very passionate about their own local areas.

The meals were generally very good to excellent. All meals were well presented and all looked very appealing. All restaurants were spotlessly clean. We were very pleased with the choice of dishes selected by our guides. Cars/busses were kept clean and good temperature, the driver provided more than enough water. They were always on time. The hotels were nice. The breakfast was good, and the room was clean.

We have established as a fact the exemplary professionalism and efficiency of China Travel Depot throughout our 7 days' stay in China. We shall never forget the constant help we had from you and your colleagues from the moment we were "stranded" in Beijing until we had managed to get other tickets to fly home at considerably extra cost and agony, finally arriving home with a delay of over 54 hours. We really appreciate everything CTD did for us and would wholeheartedly and unreservedly recommend CTD to any traveler to China for really top quality service at very reasonable price!

Yunnan Trip: Dear Sir We are interesting to make a trip to Yunnan province for 13 days. We are eight people from Greece and plan to be at Kunming at the beginning of October. We plan to visit Kunming area, Dali, Lijiang, Yuanyang and if possible Jinghong Xishuangbanna. We are interesting specially for traditional Chinese culture, old towns and villages and tribal villages. We need a car and driver. You can also arrange hotels ( moderate ). For long distances we can use also train transportation at night. Please make a suggestion for the above itinerary and advice the cost. Waiting for your early replay Thank you Kostas Fotopoulos

Customizing this trip?: Will it be possible to customize this trip doing it from Kunming to Shangri la instead of the other way around and then extending it to 8 days?
