: Hi Luis, Our experience traveling in Beijing was something we will never forget. Everything was amazing and went as smoothly as we could have hoped. Everything was taken care of and the guide/drivers were just awesome. Their knowledge of all the places we went was endless. It really did make the trip that much better, we couldn't have imagined going around without the guide. It really did make the experience that much better. All the food was excellent, it was mostly westernized Chinese food, which was very good, however for my tastes I would have liked a more authentic experience. That is probably the only thing I would have changed or would have loved to have an option to change. I'm probably more adventurous when it comes to food so I imagine I'm in the minority. The last meal we had in Beijing our guide took us to a restaurant that she suggested and it was amazing. Something away from the normal tour stops. All in all we had an amazing time and are so glad we chose China Travel Depot and I would highly recommend using them to anyone. Take care and thank you for all of your help. : Hi Tom, We came back from Beijing yesterday afternoon. Thank you for organizing this memorable trip. My husband and I had enjoyed these few days in Beijing. This trip has helped us to understand China history more. Trekking on the steep section of Great Wall, we got the beautiful scenery of northwestern Beijing and enjoyed the rewarding panorama and wildness at this section of Great Wall. Regretfully, we did not have much time to do shopping in Beijing. We would like very much to go back to Beijing in future to see the Great Wall again and to do more shopping. : Dear Carol, My husband and I enjoyed our tour of China very much. We were very satisfied with the arrangements made for us by China Travel Depot and we would certainly recommend your agency to other travelers. The trip was excellent. I've wanted to go to the Great Wall for most of my life and to finally be able to stand on the Great Wall was a breath taking experience for me. The wall was not crowded (I went on a Monday morning) and most of the visitors were foreign tourists like me. After seeing some of the pictures from Badaling and seeing how crowded it is I'm really glad I chose to go to Mutianyu instead. We hiked from the base of the hill to the Great Wall but I recommend taking the cable car up and saving your energy for hiking the Wall itself. Our tour guide in Beijing was excellent. She was intelligent, very competent and had a good sense of humor. She seemed to really like her job. She never hurried us along and she let us set the pace. She shared her information about Beijing in an interesting way...she was never boring. She was helpful in many ways such as finding bank machines or particular places for shopping. She also seemed genuinely interested in us as people, not just customers. She was our best guide during our trip. Our accommodation in Beijing was excellent and the meals were very good. The breakfasts in the hotel were very good with lots of variety. For our other meals our guide made sure that we had good variety and good service. All of our drivers were fantastic. They were good at their job. The vehicles were clean and well maintained. We want to thank you for planning a great itinerary. The entertainment in each city really added to the enjoyment.
