: Hi Julia, We enjoyed having Carol as our guide in Zhujiajiao. Please pass my thanks to her. She has made it a memory we will cherish forever. Everything was perfect. The hotel, the food, our driver Mr. Zhang Wei, the sites we visited, and most of all the fun we had together with Carol. About the food. Well. I could return to China just to tour the restaurants. : Hello Julia, Thank you for contacting us. Please see some comments below. The meals were very good and most enjoyable. We wanted to have different eating experiences rather than just eating western food so what was chosen for us was excellent, thank you.This village is not quite famous, and I can enjoy the peaceful mood there. Zhujiajiao is a village in the water, and I can take a boat go around it. The old boat and the ancient houses gave me a sense of Chrono Cross. Your guide was knowledgeable and nice, and I always had a lot to ask her. She always tried her best to give me the answer. Thank you for arranging our special and memorable vacation. : Recently we participated in a Private Day Tours in Zhujiajiao village ,which was an important town in Shanghai for many years due to its capability of shipping trades in and out, using its manmade canals which join the Huangpu River. This half day tour will gave us the opportunity to see the sights of this fantastic village and we were able to take a boat ride to view the picturesque houses and breathtaking views. There were also two beautiful temples in the Zhujiajiao village which add to the culture and compliment the view. After sightseeing we visited a silk shop where we learned how silk is made and how it became a major industry in China. also we could buy silk clothes, rugs and accessories at a bargained price! Really a nice experience!! Maurice France
