Hi Carol,

We had a great time in China. Thank you for all the arrangements. You did a great job!!

We loved China and hope to go back in the future; the cities we liked the most were Shanghai and Guilin.
About the hotels, the one we liked the most was the one in Shanghai (Greenland) the room was big and was close to the Bund, breakfast was good too. The one in Xian looked great from the outside, but the room was smelly. Also the bathroom looked really old; but they had a great view from the top where the breakfast was served.

In regards of the tour guides they were all very friendly and certainly know their jobs. We liked jack from Beijing a lot. He is very funny and enthusiastic.

One thing that I suggest you to do is the pick up/drop off from/to the airports. I don't see the need of a guide. I think only the driver is enough (they don't need to be bilingual either). At least in our case we can do the checking in at the airport by ourselves.

Thanks, again Jenny for all!! I'll send you a couple of pics.

Hi Luis,

Thank you for writing. We are home and we had a wonderful time in China. We have many photos and great memories.

The tour was very enjoyable and the service was excellent. The hotels were outstanding. We definitely recommend both the Garden Hotel in Datong and the guest house in Pingyao. Ms. Lee, the tour guide who helped us to the train in Beijing was very kind and helpful. She arranged everything and got us settled in our soft sleeper and answered all of our questions about how things worked on the train. The soft sleeper was very comfortable and was an interesting experience for us.

The only other suggestion for the trip was about the fast train home from Taiyuan. It would have been better to be on an earlier train back to Beijing because we did not have very much to see the last day and the train arrived in Beijing very late for our children. We also might have preferred to go first class on the bullet train if we had seen that option. But second class was comfortable and it was a very nice train! We enjoyed it.

Mostly the trip was fantastic. We learned a lot and saw amazing things. Thank you so much for your work in organizing it all. I would be happy to be a reference for your company in the future.

Best regards,

Laura

Dear Tom,

Thanks for sending the pictures. I also appreciate you giving us the opportunity to provide you with comments on our tour.

My husband and I enjoyed every meal that we had on the tour. The breakfast at the Holiday Inn in Beijing was wonderful and a great way to start the long and busy days. The servings at the restaurants were very generous and the quality of the food was excellent. I especially enjoyed the Peking Duck dinner and the lunch we had in Xi'an. Those two were the ones that stood out as the most enjoyable. The Peking Duck because that is one of our favorite Chinese dishes, and the lunch in Xi'an because we love noodles. This meal was very different from he Chinese food we are familiar with and it was a real treat.

Aside from the memories that we will carry with us for the rest of our lives we will also remember guides for their kindness and good spirits. They are wonderful young ladies and please let them know that we will remember them always. The one in Guilin had a very good sense of humor and he made us all laugh and enjoy our trip. He also arranged for a tailor to come to the hotel and we had suits made to order. The one in Shanghai was very helpful when we wanted to go shopping as well. He was very knowledgeable about Shanghai and provided a very professional service. Thanks for a fantastic time!

Please feel free to use our comments on your website. As soon as I can get you a picture or two, I will send them to you. Thank you again Tom. You made our trip to China memorable and we had an experience that we will never forget. We will always remember it as a trip of a lifetime.

Sincerely,
Best Regards,
Emily Tinsley
