"": Hello Julia, We are sorry that it has taken us so long to respond. We had a lot to catch up on when we got home! Our trip was even better than we had thought it might be... it was fabulous and we are already recommending your agency to everyone we talk to who is interested. The meals were wonderful and the choice of dining places were perfect. There was more than enough food and we would love to have shared our meal with our guides and even our drivers if they would have been able to accept our invitation. "": Hello Carol, The trip was great and we really enjoyed ourselves. Everything went well and our guide was good. Thanks very much for all your help - we really appreciated your quick and professional arrangements. The ancient architectural complex was amazing and shocking. I love the feeling of wondering in these ancient buildings. But there were too many people. The Temple of Heaven was also a good place to go, and it also showed the Chinese Culture. "": We recently visited Beijing and used China Travel Depot for Private Day Tours. we visited Forbidden City, Temple of Heaven and the Summer Palace . Carol was our personal tour guide and despite the rushed atmosphere caused to having to see so many sites in one day, she was very informative, exceptionally helpful, and a delight to be with all day. I highly recommend personal tour guides. The next day we visited the Lama Temple, the Panda Zoo and the Hutong. This was a small group tour and turned out to be a lot of fun. The Hutongs we visited were being renovated so there was a lot of construction debris. I think it’s great that these areas have been declared protected and are being redone. Lunch was great, in one of the Hutong houses. The Lama Temple was gorgeous and the pandas were sleepy and cute. My advice? Start really really low. If we return to China, we will definately use this service again. Rogelio Brazil
