"Prince Gong’s Mansion was well-designed."
As we visited the Hutongs, we stopped at a local store. I believed that it was the one used by Hutong residents. I purchased several kinds of tea for my family and friends, including flower tea, green tea and black tea. The gardens in Prince Gong’s Mansion was well-designed according to the Fengshui. So, this old place could survive the wars, standing in front of the visitors home and aboard today.

"More than we expected."
Capital Museum was more than we expected. I heard that the temporary exhibitions were changed regularly and also the permanent one. You know, there were lots of pieces waiting to be displayed. Museum was a good place to learn, but the best place in Beijing for a stroll must be the Hutongs. Numerous bars and restaurants, if I have chance, I would like to try most of them.

Visiting the Capital Museum, nice and modern building, my favorite is the 5th floor. There is a reconstruction of Hutongs. I learn something about Chinese festivals and conventions. That’s very interesting. The video on the first floor is also great. Do not miss it. You also can find some delicate books in English version on the underground bookstore.

"I will visit Hutongs in the evening next time."
At the top of the Drum Tower, you can have an overview about Beijing, awesome axis but poor air quality. If the day were clear enough, I would make wonderful photos. About the Hutongs, you should visit at least one of them because you will see the local life there, grandparents taking care of their kids, children playing Jianzi and locals taking walks after dinner. I think that next time I will visit them in the evening.

"More than we expected."
I really enjoyed the second floor of the Capital Museum. The history of Beijing is more than 800 years, which is 400 years older than that of the US. The main building of the museum was impressive, a big Chinese bronze cup. Visiting the Hutongs, we learned about the culture of the residents here. Thank you for all your assistance!

"Hutongs were our highlights in Beijing."
The Capital Museum, not many tourists, it was very quiet. More hours were needed because there were many to do and see. Our visit to Hutongs were our highlights in Beijing. I believed that this kind of visit was the best way to see the authentic Beijing and local life. China does not merely own Forbidden City and Great Wall but it also has interesting local culture.

"Interesting HUTONG tour."
Capital Museum, beautifully built, owned wonderful Chinese art works, including vases and teapots. Our guide told us the history of Beijing and the stories within these small roads (Hutongs). There were many old houses which belonged to famous people such as the last Empress, many princes in the Qing Dynasty and well-known Chinese scholars. We enjoyed our lunch and our guide is knowledgeable. He could answer our questions very quickly.

"Capital museum, worth a visit."
The Capital museum is worth a visit, good exhibitions, informative displays. The museum bookshop underground is my favorite. There are lots of English books about Beijing. In Hutongs, there are lots of bars and restaurants, they were nice and they had unique atmosphere, especially at night. I bought some tea where our guide Tony recommended. The Price was not very high. Chinese tea is great, but I still prefer British milk tea.

"The second time to Beijing."
My wife and I have been to Beijing twice. We spent hours visiting Hutongs(real China)in both times. I hope that some of them can be well-preserved because Beijing is replacing them with modern buildings. The gardens at Prince Gong’s Mansion were awesome. I dreamed of living in such a place, peaceful, tranquil and beautiful.
Too many tourists……

Hi Luis,
The buses were all clean. The driving was good; we never had any worries about the driving. The drivers always opened the doors and packed the luggage, they were always well mannered - no problem with the cars or drivers.

The meals were good. The lunch time restaurants were nice and gave us a taste of local cooking. The Duck meal in Beijing was outstanding; the food was good and the atmosphere super. Hotels were all OK the buffet breakfasts were all good.
