2Itinerary

  • Pick up from your hotel in Qingdao. First visit Mountain Laoshan. The highest peak of Mt. Laoshan rises 1,133 meters above sea level. Facing the Yellow Sea, it is one of China's major scenic resorts and has long been held as the reputation of No. 1 Famous Mountain on the Sea. It is also a famous Taoist mountain featuring both mountainous and coastal view. Among all the famous mountains in the whole China, it is the only mountain on the coast.
  • Taiqing Palace is the largest, oldest and most valuable of the temples in Laoshan. In its prime time, there used to be 9 great palaces, 9 great temples, and 72 nunneries in Laoshan Mountain. The most well preserved big one is Taiqing Palace. The palace holds about 140 rooms and halls with the most famous Three God's Hall, Three Purities' Hall and Three Emperor's Hall. The palace was first constructed during the reign of the first Emperor of the Northern Song Dynasty (960–1127) about 1000 years ago.
  • After lunch, make a trip to the Tsingtao Beer Museum. Built in August 2003, the 6,000-square-meter museum brings to life the beer's century-old history and culture by showing sugaring workshops, raw materials, traditional fermentation, new filter plants and packaging workouts and brewing labs. At the end of the tour, take a taste of sample beer served to each visitor. To have more, the Tsingtao Beer Bar on the first floor offer you more beer on your own.
  • Finally, you are arranged to see Zhanqiao: built in 1891 as a naval pier, now the Zhanqiao Pier is
  • Symbol of the Qingdao city. It is 440 meters long reaching into Qingdao Bay. At the southern end of it, there is a traditional 2-story pavilion. It is an ideal place to enjoy the sea view.

Could you do private tour based on details below?
Special Requests: I will be arriving to Qingdao on Oct. 5, 2013 via the Diamond Princess. We will be there from 7am to 4pm. Would you be able to construct a personal tour visiting the following places: (1) Mount Laoshan --- (want the cable car experience and visit Taiqing Palace) --- see the famous waterfalls in the mountains --- Beijiushui area if possible (2) Tianhou Temple (3) Zhanshan Temple (4) Xiayushan Hill Park for a photo op (5) Zhan Bridge (6) Some sites for German Architecture (7) Anything else you can think of during that time period a) Is this tour possible given our time constraints? b) Can you put together an approximate time at each place? c) Can you provide a tour price for anywhere from 1 to 8 people?

Hello , I am looking to stay in Qingdao with my daughter and wife from around 7/4/2013 to around 11/4/2013. Do you do rooms for three people? Also can you be more specific about what the breakfast is Thanks Alan Lightbown

You can book Standard Twin Room with one extra bed for your staying at Grand Regency Hotel Qingdao, the price for Standard Twin Room is 708RMB per room per night, the price of extra bed is 200RMB per night. If you want to stay here, please inform me to book your room at Grand Regency Hotel for you.
