Wifi and 4G Network Available in 15 Nanjing Attractions

Nanjing Municipal Tourism Commission held a press conference yesterday. It is reported that all the 4A-level and 5A-level attractions and the officially designated hotels for the YOG will provide free wifi and 4G Network. Zheng xiaoming, deputy director of the Commission confirmed that this wifi network has been completed in all the 4A-level and 5A-level attractions; wifi and 4G network have also been opened in 25 designated hotels.

It is reported that the wifi and 4G network service is under the final acceptance inspection. High-speed wifi is expected to open at the end of July in 15 attractions. In addition, free wifi will be available during the YOG. But will wifi service stay free? Zheng said, the wifi service in these attractions will stay free , while network service in hotels will depend on each hotel’s policy.

List of the 15 attractions mentioned above:

Presidential Palace Site, Yuhuatai Martyrs Mausoleum, Confucius Temple, Hongshan Forest Zoo, Yuejiang Tower, The Memorial Hall of the Victims in Nanjing Massacre by Japanese Invaders, Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum, Xuanwu Lake, Qixia Mountain, The Taiping Kingdom History Museum, Meiyuan Xincun Memorial Hall, Nanjing Municipal Museum (Chaotian Temple), Nanjing Science & Technology Museum, Chinese Historical and Cultural Street, and Ming Dynasty Culture Village (Yangshan Hill Stele).
