Three “Silk Road Flight Courses” will be Opened between Xi’an and Central Asia

China West Airport Group Company has entered into an intention that three “Silk Road flight courses” between Xi’an and Ashgabat (Turkmenistan), Astana and Alamty (Kazakhstan) will be opened.
Xi’an Xian Yang Airport will be built as first airport of Silk Road area, focus on international passenger and cargo business and regard Central Asian countries as key areas to increase direct flight market and improve airport services.
In addition, to establish a more convenient flight network, Xi’an West Airport Group Company plans to launch non-stop flights from Xi’an to Istanbul (Turkey), from Xi’an to Paris (France), from Xi’an to Moscow and St. Petersburg (Russia) in 2014.
