2Itinerary

Day 01Beijing

Destinations: Arrive in Beijing

Activities:

Your local guide will pick you up from the airport. International/Domestic flight arrangement is on your own. Service starts from your arrival at Beijing airport. Beijing is a city of both old and new - an ancient capital with some fantastic historical sites and a bustling modern metropolis hosting Olympics successfully. Upon arrival in Beijing, your guide will meet you at the arrival hall and transfer you to your Hotel. The guide will give you some tips on local restaurants that we recommend and you can do some shopping in streets nearby. The rest of the day is free to recover from jetlag or to explore the neighborhood as you wish.

Day 02Beijing

Destinations: Beijing

Activities:

After breakfast, your tour will start at Tian'anmen Square, the world's largest public square, and The Forbidden City, supreme political center as well as royal living palaces for emperors of Ming and Qing dynasties from 1420 to 1911. After lunch, you'll visit the Temple of Heaven, where the Emperors prayed for good harvests and worshipped God of Heaven. You can also take a chance to visit either Pearl shop or local art & craft shop to have a better understanding of local culture.
In the evening, enjoy watching a splendid show of Shaolin Kungfu or Acrobatics on own expense, or enjoy nightlife in pubs & bars around the Houhai Lake.

Day 03Beijing

Destinations: Beijing

Activities:

After breakfast, drive approximately two hours for Great Wall (Badaling). Stretching for over 6000km, this great defense work was originally built to protect inner land of China from invasion of nomadic troops. You can walk and climb at your own pace on this great wonder of the world.
The 2008 Beijing Olympic Park and Olympic village was open to public from October, 2008. You can take a walk in the world's biggest Olympic Park and have a glimpse of the Olympic stadiums, such as Bird's Nest - National Stadium, and Water Cube - National Aquatics Center.
Finally visit the Summer Palace, the most beautiful imperial garden in China. You can have a boat ride on the lake which is a best way to enjoy the beautiful view. You can also take a chance to visit either Pearl shop or local art & craft shop to have a better understanding of local culture.

Day 04Beijing, Tianjin

Destinations: Beijing-Tianjin

Activities:

 

After breakfast, you will take the high speed train to Tianjin, visit the Porcelain House and Tianjin Museum. Tianjin Museum is the largest museum in Tianjin, China, exhibiting a range of cultural and historical relics significant to Tianjin. The museum lies in Yinhe Plaza in the Hexi District of Tianjin and covers an area of about 50,000 sq metres. The unique architectural style of the museum, whose appearance resembles that of a swan spreading its wings, has meant that it is quickly becoming one of the city's iconic buildings.

Day 05Tianjin, Qinhuangdao

Destinations: Tianjin-Qinhuangdao

Activities:

After breakfast, you will take high speed to Qianhuagdao. we will visit the Old Dragon's Head fortifications, where the Wall meets the sea, and which is considered the easternmost point of the Great Wall. After our visit, we will hike from Old Dragon's Head directly to Shanhaiguan Pass (also known as the First Pass Under Heaven). This pleasant hike of 1- 1½ hours will take us through some small villages until we see the Gate Towers of the Shanhaiguan Pass Fortress, far away. A short drive will take us to the Fortress itself. After a one-hour's visit of the Fortress and the Great Wall Museum inside, we will be transferred to a courtyard hotel (with private washroom and hot showers) for our first overnight stay near the Wall.
Check in at the hotel in Qinhuangdao.

Day 06Qinhuangdao

Destinations: Depart from Qinhuangdao

Activities:

We will transfer you to the airport for your homeward flight. Our guide will help you handle the boarding card and then say farewell.
