Overall Satisfaction:
"perfect tour"
This tour is perfect! Although it took about 4 hours from Lhasa to Shigaste, I like the trip. I took lots of pictures in my camera and I also bore the beautiful scenery in my mind. I think all the monasteries in Tibet are of the same feeling, I mean they are all very grand and of stunning beauty. The Tashihunpo Monastery is painted in red and white, and made it very unique. You could have a great view of the surrounding country side. Maybe I will write a novel based on this tour.

"the picnic on the fourth day"
If you want me to memorize one day in Tibet, I would say it is the fourth day. I had a great picnic with other tourists by the side of Lake Yamdrok. Blue sky, clear river, gentle breeze, everything is just prefect here!

Overall Satisfaction:
"Lhasa is a must"
If you want to come to travel in China, Tibet is a must, and Lhasa is a must. On the third day of the tour, we went to Sera Monastery, it is full of Tibetan taste. The tour guide said that it is one of the 3 greatest monasteries of Tibet. The monks do the “famous daily debate” here. The most exciting thing is that I bought a carpet in a shop, there are some old and quaint lines and patterns on the carpet. I love it.

Tibet permit is issued to foreign travelers who want to travel in Tibet, excluding Diplomats, Journalists, Government Officials. There are three kinds of permits, Tibet Entry Permit (TTB permit), Alien's Travel Permit (PSB permit) and Military Permit. Foreign travelers have to apply for different permits according to the areas you want to visit. For example, you only need to apply for the TTB permit if you stay in Lhasa city. If you want to go further across Shigatse to Zhangmu, you have to apply for both TTB permit & PSB permit. All 3 kinds of permits are required if you want to visit EBC, Nyingchi, etc.

Please remember We can only arrange the entry & travel permit for tourists as a travel agency.  Doplomats, journalists, or any other government officials need to contact with Chinese government directly. Travel agency has no authority to arrange the permit for them.
