- Day 01
- Destinations: Arrive in Chengde
- Activities:Upon arrival at Chengde Railway station, you’ll be greeted & warmly welcomed by our professional English speaking tour guide. Transfer to and check in your prebooked hotel first. In the afternoon you will take round-way cable car to the Qingchuifeng Peak, which is also called "Wooden Club Peak" because of its shape. From top of the peak you can have a bird's eye view of the small Chengde city. Followed by the Puning Temple. The temple has also in its time been known as the Big Buddha Temple (Da fo si), a reference to the huge statue of Avalokiteshvara, Goddess of Mercy, made by one large sandalwood.

- Destinations: Chengde
- Activities:Today you will visit Imperial Summer Resort, which is a key national cultural protection unit listed in the World Cultural Heritage Directory in 1994 as well. It was built in the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911) and took about 90 years (1703-1792) to finish construction. After lunch you will visit Little Potala Palacewhich was built in 1767. Covering an area of 220,000 square meters, it is the largest one out of the eight remaining outer temples in Chengde. Despite much renovation, it is still possible to understand the awe that visiting dignitaries, mainly from the far western provinces and Mongolia, felt for the temple.Then you will visit a local old master of paper cutting. You can learn to cut red papers into different things like flowers, rabits, fish or anything you like.

- Destinations: Depart from Chengde
- Activities:In the morning visit Pule Temple(Temple of Universal Happiness). Within its main pavilion is the temple's namesake, a copper statue of the Buddha of Happiness (Huanxi Fo), unembarrasingly caught in acts unmentionable! After lunch,our local guide escorts you to the railway station to Beijing.

Cancellation and refund policy for Tours reservation
- If you want to cancel your booking or part of it, you must advise us in writing to chinatours@ChinaTravelDepot.com by e-mail or 0086-10-58158822 by fax. The letter must be signed by the lead name on the booking and once we receive it you should expect to receive a cancellation letter within 24 hours. If you do not then please contact us to ensure your letter has been received.
- To cover the cost of processing your cancellation and to compensate us for the risk that we may not be able to resell your travel arrangements, we make a cancellation charge on the scale shown below. The person who made the booking is responsible for paying this charge. The size of the charge depends on when we receive your cancellation notice or letter or how you would like us to deal with your payment providing that we have received your full payment for the tours.
