Tunxi District is a place where Huangshan government is located in and about 60 meters away from Huangshan scenic spot. You can find hotels in various levels, especially a lot of star-level hotels. Facilities there are much better than those in Tangkou or in the mountain. The price is also relatively low, most of which are around 200 RMB and have more discounts in the tourist off-season. People who care more about the accommodation condition could live in Tunxi District. Hotel prices in Tangkou town are among 200 to 400 RMB. There are some economical hotels opened by local people with good environment and reasonable prices

Hotels in Huangshan are not many and charge higher. The standard room is about 700 RMB but cheaper during the off-season. You have to book in advance every travel season since full room situations are always occurring. The hotels in the mountain are collected around the North Sea, the Line Peak, Bright Summit and Jade Screen Pavilion.
If you’ like to an outside camp, the North Sea Hotel is a proper place. However, during the fireproofing period in Huangshan, camping is forbidden in most places. Summer is a good season for camping since winter in Huangshan is pretty cold.
