Since the beginning of the Southern Song Dynasty, Shu embroidery has been one of China's four famous embroideries, which include with Suzhou embroidery, Hunan embroidery, and Cantonese embroidery. In addition, the Rongchang folding fan has been exported to foreign countries since the early Qing Dynasty. Furthermore the local traditional culture was greatly influenced by other various handicrafts including bamboo weaving, Tujia brocade, and Three Gorges inkstone. The Qijiang farmer woodblock prints, Beibei glass instruments, and Zhaofeng ceramics have been amalgamated into the traditional arts and crafts scene.
