The climate and geology of Chongqing provide advantageous condition for the growth of fruit such as oranges, grapefruit, pears, and persimmon. Chongqing is also a very prestigious tea producing area of China; moreover its tea plants have a long history, a few well known tea’s include " Chongqing Tuo"," Chui Ping tea"and" Xinong Maojian".
Chongqing’s specialty food is of great variety and exquisite flavors which entice visitors from around the world to try the local delicacies. Famous Chongqing’s dishes include: " Sichuan Dengying Beef"," Fuling Mustard" ," Jiangjin rice candy" and "Hechuan peach slices".
Traditional handicraft
Chongqing’s handicrafts are in high demand as their reputation throughout the years, for being exquisitely detailed delicate crafts gained popularity across the country. Since the beginning of the Southern Song Dynasty, Shu embroidery has been one of China's four famous embroideries, which include with Suzhou embroidery, Hunan embroidery, and Cantonese embroidery. In addition, the Rongchang folding fan has been exported to foreign countries since the early Qing Dynasty. Furthermore the local traditional culture was greatly influenced by other various handicrafts including bamboo weaving, Tujia brocade, and Three Gorges inkstone. The Qijiang farmer woodblock prints, Beibei glass instruments, and Zhaofeng ceramics have been amalgamated into the traditional arts and crafts scene.

The Korean goods outlet, Lilaobi Department (Jiefangbei Datong Road No. 1) located in the commercial center of Chongqing City, has an array of South Korean goods for sale. The shop specializes in male clothing, women’s cosmetics and fashion accessories which are mainly sold to college and high school students, and male consumers. However only authentic Korean products can be sold in this shop.
