Shigatse Climate

                   Shigatse  Climate

The wet season and the dry season differ a lot in Shigatse  where the heavy rainfall falls in the summer and the weather is quite temperate. The temperature drops very low which averages to -3.2 in comparison with 14.2 in July. With the typical plateau climate, the air is much thinner than average and the ultraviolet radiation is much stronger which can lead to altitude sickness if one is not adaptable enough to the unique environment. To note, the temperature difference between day and night makes a coat necessary.
