Shigatse is located in southwestern Tibet with an average elevation of 3836 m. Shigatse is an ancient city, dating back over 600 years of history. Beautiful natural scenery and unique Tibetan life here make this city known as "the most wishful manor”. The Mount Everest and other holy mountains, lakes, grasslands, and the famous legendary Gucha Monastery all attract tourists from all over the world.

 Shigatse is a beautiful and magical land. The highest peak of the world, the Mount Everest is located in Shigatse, and there is a small lake in its glacier area 6116 meters above sea level which is well-known as "hanging lake". There are not only the glaciers here, but many hot springs of different sizes and temperatures, in which the Xijin Hot Spring of Lazi West Qiaga Hot Spring of Xietongmen, Kangbu Hot Springs in Yadong Pali and Gaoshan Hot Spring in Tingri are all famous.

In addition to the spectacular natural scenery in Shigatse, there are also a variety of charming cultural landscapes here. The well-known Tashilhunpo Monastery is the center of religious and political activities held by the successive Panchen (after the fourth generation of Panchen Lama), it is so magnificent that every year a large number of pilgrims and tourists from around the world come here to visit it. In addition, there are many attractions include Panchen New Palace, Shalu Temple, the Ngon Temple, Earl Temple, and so on are the crystallization of the Tibetan people’s wisdom after the baptism of Tibetan Buddhism for thousands of years.
