Harbin, the capital of Heilongjiang, is a famous historical and cultural city with glamour of European style. Especially in winter, it is just like an ice world in fairy tales. In February 7, 1963, an ice lantern visiting activity was organized in Zhaolin Park for the first time. Since then, ice and snow became a brand of Harbin. To attract more tourists, Harbin holds a series of new events, such as the Harbin Ice and Snow Festival, the Sun Island International Snow Sculptures Art Expo.
