White Horse Temple is located in Luoyang City in Henan Province and it was named “Jin’gangya Temple” in ancient times. It is the first temple when the Buddhism has been spread in China called “The first Gusha（古刹）in China”. It was established in 68 AD and it has a history of 2000years. The temple faces to the south and it is square and occupies 4million square meter. If you come here, you can not only see magnificent and tremendous figure of Buddha but also realize the historic story of the sceneries. There are many pomegranate trees in White Horse Temple. They were called Man jing shi in han-wei period. The country of origin of pomegranate is An xi and it was spread with Buddha in Han dynasty. At that time, it was a symbol that Chinese communicated with people from other countries.
