Norbulingka has been a Summer Palace of Dalai Lama. It is well-known for its exquisite architecture and elegant environment as the biggest artificial garden in Tibet. Norbulingka is called Lhasa’s Summer Palace and located in the west of Lhasa. It is the place in which Dalai Lama deals with financial affairs and holds regional activities. Norbulingka is divided into three parts: In the east of the Palace is the entrance and Weizhensanjie Cabinet in the front of the garden. Main part of the Palace is in the middle of it and in the west of the Palace is Golden Rincah which is specified its natural land. If you are lucky enough, you can take part in the Sho Dun Festival. Only on this day can you be able to enter for free. Moreover, there are a series of games, such as, loop, shoot, archery and riding a Coke-horse. Tibetans sing and dance together to celebrate this festival and you also can watch Tibetan Opera or taste Tibetan food. Norbulingka is the biggest artificial garden which has the biggest scale, the best scenery and the largest amounts of relics. Summer is the best season for you to visit here!
