The St.Sofia Orthodox Church is the largest Orthodox Church in the Far East. It is a perfect example of Byzantine architecture with a height of 53m. . Under the bright sun, the church, together with the square around it, reminds the Chinese, bizarrely, of the Red Square in Moscow. Now it serves as an architectural art museum run by the provincial government. . |
