2Itinerary

  • Your private English-speaking guide and driver will pick you up from your hotel around 8:30am.
  • Enjoy a relaxing day trip outside of bustling Beijing. Your private guide will pick you up from your hotel in Beijing and drive you to Cuandixia Village, located 55 miles (90 km) west of Beijing.
  • Cuandixia was founded during the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644 AD) and is known for its hundreds of well-preserved homes that date from both the Ming Dynasty and Qing-Dynasty (1644-1911 AD). The historic courtyard houses are built on the side of the hill, surrounded by mountains, canyons and lush forests. Filled with pine and cypress trees, the village is a picturesque place for a walk. Climb up the stairs and walk along the stone-paved lanes to visit the houses, and amble around the terraced orchards and vegetable fields.
  • End the tour and transfer you to the hotel around 5pm.

Let us tell you that our travel to China was an marvelous experience, unforgettable and pleasant places and people as a whole. The work of the guides was outstanding with perfect knowledge of places. They explained us not only the development of each region, but also others data like the typical meal of each place.

The car was always clean and we had a fresh bottle of water waiting for us. Our driver (do not remember his name) was also nice and we felt very comfortable with his driving skills.
